Cashmere vs YNAB
YNAB helps you budget each month. Cashmere helps you plan when you can retire. Here is what each one does.

What Cashmere does better
- Cashmere is built for Singapore. CPF, the tax bands and reliefs, Savings Bonds and T-bills, and the policy catalogs are loaded and priced in Singapore dollars. YNAB knows none of them.
- Cashmere plans past this month. It runs your income, spending, CPF and investments forward to the year work becomes optional, and a scenario shows what one decision moves.
- Cashmere imports a Singapore bank statement or a photographed receipt. YNAB's linked accounts do not reach a Singapore bank, so a YNAB reader here types or uploads a file.
- Cashmere is priced in Singapore dollars, from S$9.99 a month. YNAB is US$14.99 a month or US$109 a year.
